The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have always tried to give a flypast over our events. Sometimes due to weather or operational difficulties this has not been possible . We thank them for their support

As part of the memorial day Mark and Terry Rumble landed a WW2 Polish Squadron marked Auster aircraft on the main runway
This to our knowledge will have been the first aircraft to land at Faldingworth for over 30 years

during the dedication ceremony that was held on
the 60th anniversary of the arrival of 300 Polish squadron at Faldingworth with their lancasters. The President was tragically killed in the plane accident in Russia along with others including the President in office, in 2010.
